“We love tree work, we love climbing trees, and we love making our clients happy.”

The desire to become an Arborist is becoming more and more popular. Many people have the idea that climbing trees to make money sounds like a great plan, but it is very important that you pick a qualified company, preferably one operated by an involved Certified Arborist to perform any tree work on your property. The proper care and pruning of your trees play a very important role in their long term health. Trees that appear to be hazardous should always be inspected by a Qualified Arborist.

High Climbers can help you with any of your tree care needs or questions that you may have.

SAFETY IS ALWAYS Our #1 PRIORITY.

High Climbers requires all employees to stay in compliance with OSHA and ANSI Z133.1  Standards for Tree Care Operations.

100% tie in is important for safety, from the time we leave the ground, until we return.

Before the ascent a thorough inspection of the ground, the trees base, and its stems is performed. We also look for hazards above such as power lines, bees and other unfriendly animals that may be high up in the canopy. This procedure is critical to ensure a safe work environment for ourselves, our customers and the general public.

Double tie in points are used while working aloft, this helps the climber maintain a good position so that he can make desired cuts safely, it protects him/her from a fall if they were to accidentally cut the rope with any of the sharp tools that are used.

High Climbers performs spur less climbing on most trees to be trimmed, we use special techniques to enter the tree with the use of climbing ropes and other mechanical ascending devices.

When working aloft our safe, experienced climbers consistently check their safety equipment, and the tree to maintain their safety at all times.

The ground crew assists the Arborists by providing them with necessary tools, controlling ropes to lower limbs, and to keep bystanders out of the danger zone.

Our saw operators are skilled not only in the tree but also on the ground, they have procedures they follow that allow them to fell and cut up any tree safely.

A safe, efficient crew is truly beneficial to High Climbers and You.

Pruning Methods

Pruning Methods

Proper Cuts

From the time we arrive until we leave your trees and shrubs will receive only the best care and attention. Matt is certified by the International Society of Arboriculture, he trains all of his upcoming and seasoned Arborists how to prune using their guidelines. Our Arborists will prune properly to protect the health of your trees. Most importantly proper pruning cuts are made at the branch collar, enabling the tree to close the wounds when limbs are removed.

Selective Pruning

As trees grow, they need direction, this may be in the form of removing deadwood, thinning, shaping, or reducing weight on heavy limbs. Pruning your trees can help prevent damage occurring from wind and snow storms significantly. Routine maintenance not only helps the tree, it also increases the aesthetics, can enhance sunlight, and allows water to reach other living plants below. High Climbers will be happy to help you with of all your pruning needs.

Specialty Pruning

High Climbers’ Arborists also provide and maintain specialty styles. These include espalier, topiary, and vista pruning to enhance specific views.

Tree Removal

Tree Removal

Removal of unwanted trees

Tree removals are often necessary to help maintain the safety of people and property on a site.

High Climbers staff is trained to remove trees safe and efficiently, even in the most challenging areas that have limited access, are near houses, or close to utility lines.

We specialize in the removal of trees by climbing but utilize a lift truck where it is accessible.

 Preserve or Remove

As trees get older, they become more susceptible to wood decay and other defects. The first priority when caring for older trees that you would like to keep, is to evaluate their health, structural integrity, and to provide necessary care if possible. This helps reduce or eliminate the risk of branch, stem, or whole tree failure.

 how to decide

High Climbers can provide you an Arborist qualified to give you a tree risk assessment with recommendations on whether or not a tree should be removed.

Crane Use and hauling

Crane Use and hauling

When to use a crane

In some cases, a crane can be used to aid in the speed and increase safety on large trees being removed. No matter how difficult your tree problem may be, you can depend on us for any tree removal job. Using a crane gives us the ability to hoist trees or limbs over a house and other large obstacle with ease. It also eliminates the damage that may be caused by large tree removals on your well-maintained landscapes. The increased speed involved with using a crane commonly reduces time and effort needed, which also saves you money. A crane is not necessary for all large trees, but they can be very useful in the right situation. Call High Climbers, You'll be glad you did!

When it comes to Hauling

High Climbers is fully equipped to haul massive amounts of debris with ease, we provide our crews with all the proper tools needed to haul heavy loads without hurting themselves. with the use of log carts, light impact tractors, grapples and heavy loaders we get the job done fast and safe.

Stump Grinding

Stump Grinding

Stump grinding is the final task for a lot of jobs. It does require proper planning which includes notifying the correct locators, and an inspection to check for underground utilities such as gas, power and electrical lines. High Climbers will contact these companies. Sprinkler pipes can not be detected, we advise the customer to help us identify where these lines may be. There is only a couple ways to get stumps out of the ground, sprinkler damage is unavoidable on some projects, and is a situation in which the property owner is responsible to repair them selves. Our team will do everything we can to protect your property from start to finish.

Please contact us with any and all questions that you may have about your trees, or any questions you may have about risks that may be present.

Our team looks forward to talking with you and building a professional relationship with you and your trees.
